Lina García was born in Medellin, Colombia, South America and is the last sibling of 11. Growing up with 5 older brothers, 5 older sisters, her mother and step-father, it was only natural that Lina grow up taking on a role with social ambition. Lina has been a resident of Barrie, Ontario for over 8 years and currently resides with her husband of 18 years, and their 3 children ages 16, 12 and 8.

Lina has a Diploma in Business Administration, a Certificate in Leadership, and is a certified Personal Trainer and Fitness
Instructor with the Amercian Council on Exercise.
She has extensive experience in Sales, Customer Service and
Business Management all which have helped her tremendously in her Real Estate practice but it is because of her strong and large family unity,as well as her passion for business that she attributes her success, and her drive .

After years of saving for their first home and then realizing
that their "dream home" was not attainable nor desirable (because of increase in crime) in their then home city of Toronto.


Lina and her husband Gilberto decided to make the move to the very beautiful and  promising city of Barrie, Ontario.
It was there that Lina decided to join the Sutton Incentive Realty Family as Barrie's hispanic real estate agent, a family she says largely resembles her own, with over 100 agents serving the community from 4 different locations in Barrie and Surrounding areas.







Community involvement is an important part of the company's philosophy, as is Lina's, who is the founder of the annual Barrie Latin Festival.
